Every color that I searched was not available useless     Useless Da8ap
Complete waste of your time If you re a designer just move right on passed this It has a lot of potential but what you get from the immediate download is an awful UI The best way to illustrate this app is a color wheel that has been placed in a shredder shaken up and then displayed     This is the first app I have felt compelled to mark down its rating An artist that wasted time
I paid 10 for the full app when I started graphic design classes and now I have to pay for a sub Ugh the UI design is better though edit I was told by the developer I could restore my purchase and it would be fine thank goodness because it s so much easier than carrying the deck around with me                 What happened LittleRae
I downloaded the app yesterday I ve already cancelled my subscription I m so glad I compared it to a brand new formula guide because none of the colors I checked matched I even tried adjusting the settings on my iPhone I was really hoping this would work     Colors are not accurate mch0720
Hello Love the app but it crashes every time I try to read the articles I have updated and restarted phone and it s a bug in the app Please fix Thank you                     App keeps crashing when trying to read articles gossjoh1
There is literally no use for this app due to its limitations Paying for it would be crazy     Useless website is more effective Zcggrdx35665,?$
Access to relevant color stories according to what industry you select                     Fabulous cdesign jewelry
I don t understand why this had gotten as many negative reviews as it has It s a pretty solid app and priced reasonably considering how Pantone is constantly updating and refining its color libraries As long as the app itself also stays updated I ll be happy 18 4334 TPG has a quirky spelling of Mediterranean with ian instead of ean Not sure if that s deliberate or a mistake since it s written that way on the site too                 Pretty nice overall dalahäst
it becomes the most powerful app in my phone Use it for every design assignment m                     favorite app Cerulean G
This app could possibly be useful for a web designer but for anyone else dealing with a real color environments like print this comes up with useless numbers that aren t even guesses that will get you in the ballpark When you take what it gives you to InDesign it is useless When you send it to Creative Cloud it sends an rgb swatch If all you want to do is come up with random color swatches that will leave you disappointed get this app     Useless kibosh
The app seems to include every single Pantone collection except the one I need Plastic Standard Chips Super frustrating And I don t understand why I can only search by color name or number If I don t know the designation of the color I am looking for I can t enter it into a search And entering in a generic name gives hundreds of results many completely unrelated It s nearly impossible to know if I m getting the closest match The RGB values are never the same collection to collection even for the same number I have to go to each individual collection look for a close visual match and then check the RGB values Not very efficient or helpful The search function should allow RGB input so the closest match can easily be found Overall the app is somewhat difficult to navigate I seem to have to tap way too many times to get to the information I want And for me geared too much towards design I need something more technical So not worth the money     Incomplete and overpriced Petrovian
Can send colors straight to Adobe Cloud get all color breakdowns and corresponding color pallets Thanks Pantone                     Love it Girl with the Poe Tattoo
I m not positive how dead on the colors are in the images but I find this EXTREMELY helpful I know there are multiple factors lighting the camera the app Hard to pinpoint which is the variable that I can manipulate to make most accurate image of color But OVERALL GENIUS                 Pretty cool jonkern
The app is extremely difficult to navigate lots of hidden navigation and features I paid for the subscription so that I could connect my adobe account etc and I couldn t get it to work I want to like this but just can t         How is this worth 5 a month unccguy75
Hello there I m Brazilian and it d be great to have the option to choose the app language from Portuguese to English back again which I prefer Just saying                 Language Option iigorpnhr
Incredibly expensive for the poor app that it is Be sure when you delete it and delete it you will that you also delete your subscription Else you will get slammed monthly for something you deleted hours after downloading Like me     Really poorly made Septemous
If you re a designer or an artist of any kind this will make your life so much easier when it comes to creating color schemes 7 7                     Liiiiiiit odots
The app doesn t work well with any kind of multicolored piece Since the color numbers aren t given it s just as easy to eyeball matching colors         Hard to use Gracie3760
With the updates you no longer can look up a color number It s now asking for a monthly subscription I ve already paid for the app long ago Pantone what are you thinking Very unprofessional especially from your establishment Shameful     What a Ripoff Missoula Girl
Let s our color geekery run on overdrive The integration with Creative Cloud now is fantastic too                     Pulling color from the tangible world straight into your digital workflow like a boss scotty@IDG
I am a designer and have been looking for an app this powerful for years Hexadecimal PMS without limits Bless you Pantone                     Incredible dfarmer1959
I already payed for this app now they took away all the Pantone colors and are asking for a subscriptions even if you already payed This is a scam bring the pantones back or give the previous clients their money I ve seen a LOT of complaints about this     Scam ValeAssiso
Just wish it was in numerical order just like a regular pantone book we have at work              Not bad
It has so many features I think this is a great app iPhone 5s iOS 711                 This app is great
Colors displayed here may not match Pantone standards I learned the hard way after choosing the wrong color Whats the point of having this app then     Seriously
This app allows me to carry around any Pantone palate wherever my job may take me Although colors are obviously going to look different on a RGB screen you at least have a general idea and the Pantone swatch number while on the go situations              Graphic Designer on the move
A total waste of money The colors extracted from images taken are not accurate at all Pale yellow is extracted as grey Perhaps this could be addressed with calibration but how to do this is not obvious The app seems to have some functional problems One the keyboard appeared with no way to dismiss     Useless
It gets the colors pretty close Very useful                 Great app
There is one MAJOR BUG that has gone undetected for at least the past two years that I have owned this app The color picker is a semitransparent grey circle sheer meant to look like a magnifying glass Problem is PANTONE IS PICKING UP THE COLOR OF ITS OWN COLOR PICKER IN THE READING In other words Pantone is ADDING THE GREY COLOR OF THE COLOR PICKER TO THE COLOR READING creating a bias in every color even RGB The app is great except for this stupid bug Since the color picker is what I need most from this app I am giving it one star If you dont use the picker I would give it five stars     One MAJOR flaw
The web site where they post nonexistent tech support only refers to iOS 6 and the camera feature keeps crashing Just purchased and so far notsogood           Does this app work with iOS 7
cant work with ipod touch 2nd generation my ios 42     cant work with ipod touch
Why would they say it works for ipad As a designer i expect good quality in stuff Not a zoom in option For freaking 10 dlls it should work better Im so upset about this that I dont even want to go through it        What
I am baffled at the amount of negative reviews this app has This app not only includes all the Pantone books that are simple to fan through you can also take a picture and pinpoint out individual Pantone colors out of the picture and save them The app will also give you all the harmony Pantones of any Pantone you choose Then once you have all the Pantones you want you can just email the pallete directly out of the app It makes choosing colors easy and you dont have to carry around the Pantone books with you Highly recommend                 This app is amazing for a designer
Its very helpful If you dim your iPhone brightness a bit the colors on the iPhone actually match the real color books It needs to be updated for iPhone 5 Also you should consider making this an iPad app too              Amazing but
Some of the colors are missing I have the on my PMS book Ex PMS 2374C This is the same on illustrator and on the xrite cross reference chart        Missing Colors
I have one of their old devices that can read colors as well as all their various swatch books This app gives me all of that right on my phone What a great app                 Love it
New update and UI are great Love this app for all kinds of design projects                 iOS 8 Update
This comes in very handy for work Especially for color harmonies Please please update for iOS 8           Needs Update
Great app useful and awesome                 Good
The interface is actually great and I like the option to choose fan deck or page view but there is one crucial factor missing here there are no labels to orient you to what part of the deck youre in For an app that fully admits that its for quick reference only it would really be nice to be able to quickly fan through to a page youre familiar with and show it to a client Sure you can search but then theres no way to bring up that colors page to see it in context As a rough color reference its good but as a Pantone product that superficially attempts to act as an extension of their physical product it fails miserably Maybe they should pull the resources from the departments that cheapen the brand looking at you coffee mug and umbrella dept and focus on the professionals that are willing to spent 10 on a color app           So close
This was pretty easy and addictive Once I got past the initial signup and agreed to the terms the app dropped me right into being able to browse the color palettes Click the camera icon and take or choose an existing photo The app chooses 5 colors from the pic to highlight as the palette but move your finger around the image and choose exactly which color youd like to highlight Variations appear at the top and you can drag the one you like to the palette at the bottom Super easy to use and great for putting together outfits or decorating rooms based on an art piece or inspiration photo You can share the palette send to another device or clear the colors and start over The email embeds the pantone info and includes attachments color ase and qci What a great tool for working with clients and sharing your vision                 Works fine for me
Im a jewelry artist I bought this app to give me a portable color reference for the spring 2012 colors Not only is that palate not readily available in the app when I took a pic of the colors on the website had the app pick them it wasnt even close The color names arent included neither are the color numbers that are given for the spring 2012 colors so searching for either if those is futile I already have palates pro Ive had more luck finding or estimating the colors through it Dont waste your money I want mine back        Very disappointed
Needs an update for the iPhone 5           Update
Great app for picking colors on the go and for quick viewing Great app for graphic designers My only complaint is that I wish the app could saveadd more than 5 colors to the pallet I am emailing the swatches to myself and importing them into Illustrator Would be nice to have one larger swatch pallet to import than a bunch of small ones with only 5 in them in it              Nice App
2 simple things you could do to make this hugely more effective make this a universal app so it looks good on both the iPhone and iPad give the color breakdowns for the PMS colors I want to see what each color is built from just like in the books I need to know how the color is built to know how it will react on a sheet For instance How much reflex blue is in a color cause to much can make a color tail real easily when densities are pushed A nerdy thing I know but who else but serious color experts are paying 999 for a Pantone app           Needs Features
Had been using it for a year by now and Im very happy with it an actual physical fan deck its quite expensive and with this app I have several of them                 Great App
Its extremely difficult to point at a color according to the Pantone number We should be able to select a Pantone number example 647c and get it displayed        Dir
I really liked this app but it only worked for a few days and then it started crashing as soon as I opened it I keep hoping the will fix it but so far nothing     Dont Waste Your Money
Version 1 of this app was very straight forward to use Im not sure why Pantone felt compelled to add some pretty useless features to version 2 This app has marred Pantones reputation in my view as the app is always crashing Version 1 never crashed Youve been warned     Should have left version 1 alone
Well shame on me for not reading all the reviews first but I thought hey its Pantone Theyre professional right Its been about 20 minutes since I purchased this app and instead of playing happily with my new multicolored toy Ive spent most of that time restarting the appit quits constantly pretty much every time I touch anything Im terribly disappointed Pantone and would like to ask for either an immediate updatefix or an immediate refund     Terribly disappointing
Very handy Could use the ink mixing formulas though              QC
The titles said it all                 AWESOME
Great app I love being able thave access to all the selectors not just the ones I own Ive been wanting the pastelneon tool and now i have access to these new colors Its not accurate for actual matching but its like sketching with a pencil Its close but needs a final version II wish there would be a way to order the chips I select from the app NowThat would be cool                 Love this app big fan
The 20 version works on the iPad but its nothing short of a disaster on the iPhone Developer needs to respond or refund     iPhone disaster
If you search for a particular color you should be able to drag that to your palette without having to search for it in the fanbook It would be nice to be able to have more than 5 colors in a palette Otherwise its a great tool I love that I can carry it around in my phone              two suggestions
This was a nearly perfect color selection app A joy to work with Other than maybe tweaking the color accuracy and the obvious need to make it universal it was a jewel But updates have left it a mess to use You guys wouldnt be in politics would you I see some skills that would make you naturals        Huh
Havent gotten to use the app It wont open     Will not open keeps crashing
Bought the app and is not working at all the only thing that comes to the screen is a disclaimer notice and a push notification banner Must update this app spent 10 bucks and will ask for my money back at iTunes Just rated it with one start because I guess when submitting a review they want me to rated it and in my opinion no star     Not working app
Make the search function search all libraries Dont make me load 1 swatch book at a time and repeat the search every time over and over And for god sakes have the search field default to number entry Expensive app for cumbersome function           Searching lacks
Keeps crashing Very disappointed Where is the update This app does not work It starts up you can select a swatch book but when you tap on a guide book page it crashes     crash crash crash
I should have listened to the reviews Id like a REFUND     Pantone
This must be one of the least robust designer tools on the market With a seriously steep price tag and a void of useful features this app is pretty worthless Really I can only have 5 colors in a palette It wont tell me the CMYK make up of anything including process colors I cant make a master palette and then smaller combos within that Not at all helpful for this designer what a waste     Save your money
Besides the colors not being greatly accurate So much development energery was put on finding colors with the fandeck or image which is perfect but I really wish you could create larger palettes on same screen and was a little more interactive Hopefully Pantone can fix this           Its okay
Can you please include the color names Honeysuckle etc on the swatches That would improve my rating Thank you           Color names
This is great for a quick spot check It includes many Pantone charts What a deal to have them this cheap and on my phone Due to the fact iPhone uses its own color management or lack there of I was unsure how accurate the swatches would be on the screen I must say they look pretty darn close to the real Pantone charts Well as close as a little glowing box can get The photo tagging option is also a great little extra for working with customers that want to tag old art with Pantones Gets you in the ball park of a match if not dead on Right on the spot The search feature is also nice What can I say I love this app Worth every penny If you do graphic design or run a printer You need this app                 Great app
One wordweak     Pantone
We need it for ipad retina display                 Love the app but
THE GOOD Useful for referencing fandecks on the go THE BAD No updates This app is not entirely user friendly needs heavy improvement I purchased about 2 years ago In 2 years not much has changed THE UGLY When oh when will it be reformatted to fit the iPad screen That is my absolute biggest gripe 2x zoom is tolerable for small time apps but Pantone Mega House Unacceptable A 1000 app should perform like a 1000 app Please improve or at least provide partial refunds        The good the bad and the ugly
As an aside Did anyone else have Pantone XREF and have it mysteriously disappear              Pantone XREF
The color picker has a grey tint which alters the result to a grey bias I realized this when I was using it for a white background I need to match up Very annoying Please fix     Please fix this bug
I reluctantly bought this app based on the horrible reviews but noticed since the latest update the reviews improved Seems the developer put out the app prematurely Running the app on a iPhone 4 and its very useful but a tad pokey So far no crashes Ability to browse a large portion of the Pantone library and explore complimentary pallets will prove very useful in my concept work Emailing a palette displays all the specs you need such as HexDex RGB etc So far so good Will report back if it turns on me              Useful for designers
I love this app Id really like to have a version that I dont have to run pixelated Please please please make a version for the iPad              iPad version Please port to the iPad
