Ive got several Bama apps but most of them are photo intensive which drains cell data usage What I love about this app is that it doesnt force a lot of largish photos all over the place but has good in depth articles with maybe only a singe small photo embedded If I want to get more photos and videos and streaming when on wi fi it has that option too And a big point is that the app uses a small amount of storage So far so good

Every year I hope that the official Crimson Tide Sports app will deserve 5 stars and every year Im let down At least this year the app is ready for broadcasts at the start of the football season However if you start a broadcast and lock your phone the audio stops Cmon guys iPhones arent new you should have something this simple worked out by now Still needs work

The writing is very superficial and not very informative There are very few photos and the videos worth anything appear to require a paid subscription There are no links to detailed articles and analysis On the plus side all sports are treated equally but what that really means is that basketball and football are dumbed down Mediocre

I have been paying a yearly subscription for this app for a few years and with this latest update all of a sudden it isnt a pay app anymore I paid for content through December 2014 and now this app is useless We usually had access to Tide Tv videos and such and with Media days approaching all of this has been taken away If you are smart do not install this update Why in the world would you introduce a lite version of an app that people are already paying for All of a sudden not a pay app

Its a good app for the casual fan that just wants to catch final scores But for someone like me who tries to follow every single sport from 7 time zones away it isnt very good at updating Its good at it with the big sports like football and mens basketball but not so great with updating during the game for sports such as baseball and softball Roll Tide Roll Not so Live
